Berry’s Concrete Pumping was founded in 2007 by Chris Berry, whose roots in the concrete industry run deep. Chris began learning the craft at 13, working alongside his father on jobsites where he honed his skills in washing tools and finishing concrete. After graduating college and completing a military tour overseas, Chris felt called to build his own business. With a keen eye on the growing demand for concrete pumping services, he took a leap of faith and established Berry’s Concrete Pumping.
Despite the economic challenges of 2008, Chris’s dedication, faith, and hard work turned those early years into a foundation for success. Today, Berry’s Concrete Pumping has expanded to two locations, operating a reliable fleet of boom and line pumps with a skilled team of over 25 employees. Chris attributes the company’s success to his faith, the unwavering support of his wife, and his team’s commitment to providing top-tier service to every client.

Meet the Owners
Chris and Shea Berry
Chris Berry, a proud native of south-central Alabama, grew up with a strong work ethic cultivated on his grandfather's cattle farm and alongside his father finishing concrete. Valedictorian of South Montgomery County Academy, Chris went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from Troy University. His dedication was evident even through college, balancing 2-3 jobs while serving as a soldier in the Alabama Army National Guard.
After returning from a deployment overseas, Chris felt ready to build his own business and, with a deep-rooted background in concrete, established Berry’s Concrete Pumping, LLC, in 2007. In 2012, Chris married Shea, whose expertise in bookkeeping and human resources quickly became invaluable to the company. Shea stepped in as office manager, bringing her knowledge, shared values, and commitment to helping Berry’s Concrete Pumping grow.
Today, Chris and Shea are raising two boys while embracing the farm life they both love. As a family, they enjoy learning and advancing in the concrete pumping industry, tending cattle, team roping, hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. Together, Chris and Shea are committed to becoming better people and leaders through their faith in Christ, helping others achieve their goals and reach their potential. They strive to use their blessings to bless others and bring glory to God in all they do.
